Tsakani – Siyabonga Dimo is professionally known as MorGan_Da_KruGer and is steadily making his mark in the ever-evolving Amapiano landscape.
He is a 24-year-old DJ, composer, and singer, rooted in emotion, storytelling, and the rich musical culture of his hometown.
“Growing up in Tsakani, a township known for its vibrant rhythm and diversity, I found my passion for music at an early age.
“My journey began in community spaces such as school and church, where my love for sound and rhythm developed.
“What started as simple experimentation with beats and melodies soon evolved into full-scale music production and songwriting,” he explained.
“I was always drawn to music as a way to express myself. It became a safe space where I could communicate emotions I could not always put into words.”
Siyabonga specialises in Amapiano and 3step. His music is characterised by deep log drums, smooth chords, and an emotional depth that resonates with listeners.
“My music is inspired by everyday life experiences, including love, struggles, and my environment.
“My aim is to create music that connects with people on a personal level. My biggest influences include some of the genre’s leading figures such as Kelvin Momo, DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, De Mthuda, and MFR Souls and artists who have shaped and globalised the Amapiano sound,” he said.
Throughout his journey, Siyabonga has collaborated with a range of emerging talents, including Taded, Xcive SA, Nonkosii Yano, Clive De Voca, Jay Popzin, DJ Stresser, Young Shaka Stitch, SimZ, Mpoomy P, Siya Sindane, Given Kanu, and Reaily.
These collaborations have contributed to his growth and versatility as an artist.

“The track promises a fresh, energetic yet soulful Amapiano sound that reflects lifestyle, groove, and emotional expression,” he mentioned.
Siyabonga cited that there is definitely more music coming.
While he is still building his performance profile, Siyabonga has already appeared at local events, using each opportunity to sharpen his stage presence and connect with audiences.
He also looks forward to expanding his reach through travel and performances across different cities and, eventually, international stages.
“I believe consistency and dedication will open those doors,” he said.
