Tsakani police officers responded to a murder scene at about 19:45 on March 11 in Tsakani Ext 10. According to Ekurhuleni SAPS district spokesperson Captain Neldah Sekgobela, on arrival officers were met by community members.
“The community members showed them a lifeless body of a male lying on the ground with gunshot wounds on the upper body. A few cartridges were found at the scene,” she explained.
Sekgobela added that the deceased was identified as a 43-year-old resident of Tsakani Ext 10.
The suspects are unknown, and Tsakani police are appealing to anyone with information regarding the suspects to come forward.
