Teboho Mokgomatha aims to inspire youth with new music and bold artistry

Tsakani – Teboho ‘Coelacanth OG’ Mokgomatha (24) is a hip-hop artist whose career started while he was still in school.
He started making music in 2021 to make a name for himself and to improve his circumstances. Teboho has worked with a lot of local artists, such as Cubik East, Sway Keys, and Kelvin Kay-C.
He aspires to work with Kaine Kid, Loutinova Pounds Maglera, and Thato Soul. Teboho has produced songs such as It’s Motive, Prone to be, Orchestra, and Solar Plexus.
“My fans can expect an album coming out soon titled Aflame de Flicker. I named it after my high school slogan. Aflame de Flicker is nearly done. I have about five songs left.

“The second album that I am working on is based on the Biblical story of Samson and Delilah,” he explained.

“I portrayed the fall of Samson, how he lost his power, and rose from the ashes like a phoenix reborn. I called the piece OG n Floozy, and I literally cut my own sacred locks to embody the character.”
Teboho’s goal is to spread his music as much as possible while trying to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. His goal and mission are to make a name for himself locally and globally.
“I want to give back to charities, especially orphanages. I want to inspire children and help them aspire to be Coelacanth OG. I want to touch souls whenever I drop music and help people heal through my artistry,” he added.
More music is yet to come from Teboho; he aspires to work with well-known artists all over the world, reviving hip-hop.
