The 2026 St John’s College basketball tournament is set to continue for the third day, despite light winds and cloudy skies.

After the St John’s College U19 team defeated Hilton College 50–44 in a high-intensity game last night, the team has qualified for the quarter-finals. They will take the courts at 12:00, playing against St. Benedict’s.
Vice-captain Aniel Nuttal-Mbembe said the team’s defeat of Hilton College proves that they are ready for the next stages of the tournament. “The support we received was amazing. We pushed and fought to win by 50 points. We can’t wait to see how we perform in the quarter-finals.”
