The Springs Premier Football Club is calling on young boys and girls across Springs and Kwatsaduza, who are interested in joining the club for the 2026 season, to sign up on January 24 at Veritas College’s sports ground in Pollak Park.
Registration will open from 10:00 to 12:00 for returning members or those joining for the first time. Team manager Janine Venter told Springs Advertiser that the club is actively working to expand its senior structures with the long-term goal of entering the SAFA regional leagues, as it currently competes in the Easterns Local Football Association (ELFA) league.
She said that as part of their growth, they aim to open pathways for players over the age of 17 and to strengthen opportunities for girls by encouraging participation and ultimately establishing dedicated all-girls teams, while continuing to welcome girls into our mixed squads.
“With renewed energy, strengthened structures and a vision for long-term player development, the club continues to honour its roots while embracing progress,” said Venter.
Any juniors (born in 2014 to 2019) interested in playing for the club should contact Melinda White on 083 639 0685, and seniors (born in 2009 to 2013) should contact Janine Venter on 064 693 1655.
