Tsakani – A 37-year-old EMPD officer reported for duty at approximately 13:30 on April 6 and was soon dispatched to a pedestrian vehicle accident at the intersection of Black Road and Mafula Street in Tsakani.
“On arrival at the scene, an ambulance was already present and had declared the victim deceased.
“The deceased, an unknown man, was allegedly struck by a vehicle,” explained Ekurhuleni SAPS district spokesperson Captain Neldah Sekgobela.
Sekgobela said he was found lying in the middle of the road with no visible injuries.
“The driver of a white Nissan Combi did not sustain any injuries. The body was taken to the Springs mortuary,” said Sekgobela.
