Kwa-Thema – The Kwa-Thema Netball Academy invites Kwatsaduza netball enthusiasts aged seven to 16, and irrespective of experience, to join its team.
The trials are on January 31, from 08:00 at the Mehlomakhulu Netball Court, next to the Zamani Primary School.
Head coach Lebohang Bangani said the academy is open to anyone who wants to grow in the sport and be part of a supportive, community-focused environment.
“Our goal is to develop talent and create a space where players can enjoy the game, build confidence and grow together as a team.
“We want to make netball accessible to everyone in Kwa-Thema and the surrounding areas,” Bangani said.
The trials will be held for all divisions, giving seasoned players and newcomers the chance to showcase their skills and learn from experienced coaches.

The academy emphasises teamwork, discipline and personal development, making it more than just a sports club.
“I encourage parents, learners and anyone interested in netball to be part of a growing initiative that aims to strengthen the sport in the community.
“I also encourage parents to bring their seven-year-olds and older kids to join us. Netball is about more than just winning games.
“It is about fostering community spirit, developing young talent, and helping each player reach their full potential,” Bangani added.
