City officials warn that scammers are increasingly targeting job seekers on social media platforms. They emphasise that applying for City positions is completely free.

Applicants should never pay a placement or processing fee, and official applications will not be accepted via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or email unless clearly stated in a verified advert.

Residents unsure about the authenticity of a job listing are encouraged to check the City’s official website at www.ekurhuleni.gov.za

By using only official channels, applicants can ensure their personal information remains safe and their career aspirations are protected.
