The Trauma Support SA (TSSA) team, founded by Philip Stoneman, has become a pillar of strength, offering a gentle shoulder and patient ear to those trapped in the eye of traumatic storms.
Consisting of a team of dedicated and trained volunteers, TSSA is committed to providing emotional and psychological support to individuals and communities affected by trauma.
“Over the years, our work has touched countless lives, offering hope, healing and resilience in the face of adversity,” said Stoneman.
“In the past we have been fortunate to be part of corporate partnerships which provided a regular income stream to sustain our ongoing community work.

“Due to economic pressures these collaborative relationships have dwindled thus throttling this vital source of funding.”Stoneman further explained that this is straining the team’s ability to offer consistent support.
“As an NPO we rely solely on community support and funding to not only to subsidise costs incurred by our volunteers while responding to the community’s needs, but to also maintain a regular salary for our permanent staff member, who is at the heart of our service,” he said.
“We are appealing to the business and individuals to assist in keeping our organisation afloat so that we can continue being a source of comfort to those in need.”
Your contribution will enable TSSA to: • Continue providing trauma support services to those in need.• Retain the services of a skilled staff member who ensures continuity and care.• Sustain outreach programmes.
Every donation makes a significant difference in continuing to be a beacon of hope for those navigating the aftermath of trauma.
