The social care team from the Lighthouse Community Church shower Vita Nova with love.
The Lighthouse Community Church (LHCC) visited the Vita Nova Centre to lend a hand with morning chores and deliver essential clothing and sanitary items on October 19.
Thembi Siwisa, the head of LHCC social care, said the visit was intended for them to offer help without interrupting the care facility’s daily routine.
“Assisting Vita Nova with everyday chores enabled us to be effective without overwhelming the residents and to extend a gift of service. Our visit strengthened the bond between us and the facility,” said Siwisa.
