Basketball action at Brixton Multipurpose Centre today delivered two clear results, as St Stithians College U15s and Jeppe Boys U15s handled their business.
In the first match, St Stithians College U15 faced Michael Mount. Michael Mount started slightly better, taking the first quarter 9–7. Saints responded in the second, winning it 14–10 to take a narrow lead into halftime.

The third quarter made the difference. St Stithians tightened up on defence and outscored Michael Mount 16–6. They stayed in control in the final quarter, adding nine more points while allowing just four. The game ended 44–26 in favour of Saints.

In the second game, Jeppe Boys took on St Peter’s College. Jeppe came out strong, dominating the first quarter 19–5. They followed that with an 8–5 second quarter to build a comfortable lead at halftime.
St Peter’s improved in the third quarter, edging it 9–6, but Jeppe stayed steady. An 11–9 fourth quarter sealed a 44–28 win.
Jeppe point guard Gosego Semeno added two three-pointers to help drive his team’s attack.
