Sizwesethu Primary celebrates three district mathematics olympiad qualifiers

Tsakani – Sizwesethu Primary School is celebrating a remarkable achievement as three of its learners have secured places in the District Mathematics Olympiad. The learners stood out among competitors from 16 schools in the Duduza and Nigel cluster during the Olympiad held at Iphahiseng Primary School on March 11, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for mathematics.
After a challenging round of problem-solving and mathematical reasoning, only nine learners from the participating schools qualified to proceed to the District Championships.
“We are extremely proud to share that three of those nine learners come from Sizwesethu Primary School. The following learners have successfully qualified for the District Mathematics Olympiad: Nosipho Khaba in Grade Four, Praise Choene in Grade Five, and Kamohelo Bolibe in Grade Six.
“This is a remarkable academic accomplishment for our learners and a proud moment for the entire Sizwesethu Primary School community,” expressed Duduzile Bongwe, the school’s maths teacher.
Bongwe added that their dedication, hard work, and passion for mathematics have truly paid off, and their success highlights the commitment of both learners and educators towards academic excellence.
