
Different community members donated pre-loved clothing, shoes, toys and accessories to the group, which were then given to individuals in need.
“The main purpose of the initiative is to collect gently used clothes for those in need within our community.
“We saw a need for support and wanted to make a difference by providing warmth and dignity to those who are struggling.
“By distributing donated clothes and shoes directly to individuals and families in need, we are making a significant difference to the underprivileged,” said Nkosana Mashinini.
The team advertises their initiative on social platforms, through posters and by word of mouth. Mashinini explained that the initiative will continue until the end of the year.

Individuals may donate to help make a significant difference.
“Community members can drop off donations at the Duduza Resources Centre (Netso Shop) or at the new Duduza taxi rank.
“We can arrange to pick up large donations,” he said.
Mashinini added that the community’s involvement in the programme has been overwhelming.
