School honours learners for maths excellence

The learners were rewarded for excellent results.

Tsakani – Mandlethu Primary School hosted a dinner of appreciation to honour and celebrate the excellent performance in maths shown by learners throughout the year.
“Our learners have excelled in almost all mathematics competitions held this year,” explained the maths head and the event organiser, Phindile John.
The learners excelled in the Maths Olympiad, the Maths Games and the Wesolve4x competition and the classroom.
The learners received certificates of appreciation.
“We appreciated Gibela Rail and Wesolve4x with certificates for investing in our education for running the Saturday classes. The marks of our Grade Six learners have improved drastically.
“A big thank you to the Mandlethu maths team of teachers. The excellent performance of learners is a reflection of the hard work done in class.
“A sincere word of thanks goes to all who made the event possible with their donations, Ba-Tau Crapping, our retired teachers and our parents,” added John.
