Here’s an easy and quick recipe for you to try at home this festive.
Ingredients:• 1–2 lemons, sliced into circles• Fruit jelly (any flavour of your choice)• Mixed fruits (berries, citrus, grapes, or any of your favourites)• Lime cordial• Gin or vodka (optional – for an alcoholic version)• Tonic water or Sprite
Method:• Prepare the lemons: Slice your lemons into neat circles and place them at the bottom of your glass.• Make frozen jelly fruit cubes: Combine small pieces of fruit with your prepared jelly in an ice tray.• Freeze for about 30 minutes, or until solid.• Assemble your drink: Once frozen, add the jelly-and-fruit cubes to your glass with the lemon slices.
Mix your drink:• Pour in a splash of cordial lime, followed by gin or vodka (or your preferred alcohol).• Top up with tonic water or Sprite for a fizzy finish.
