Sports and entertainment will take center stage at the maiden edition of the Global Football Festival on Friday, December 27, 2024. This exciting event will bring together key stakeholders in the world of sports, Ghanaian football legends, and renowned musicians for a packed day of sporting activities and fun at the Asamoah Gyan Sports Complex inside Accra Academy. The Global Football Festival will also welcome the return of Ghanaian football stars playing outside to share their experience and expertise with aspiring footballers in the country. Additionally, an eight-team football competition will be held under the watch of international football scouts, who will monitor and select the best talents for an opportunity to play in Europe. The festival will feature the first-ever football museum and a player parade highlighting Ghana’s footballing achievements.
