Internationally acclaimed South African vocalist, songwriter and composer Nokuthula Fundama released her highly anticipated EP Siyaphambili, now available on all major digital streaming platforms.
The project is already receiving positive reviews across various media platforms, reaffirming her influence as both a recording and performing artist.
To mark the release, Fundama will host a live concert experience titled The Journey – An African Heritage and Cultural Celebration at Kings Kraal in Sandton on March 7 at 18:00.
The concert is free to attend and is supported by the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture. More than just a performance, The Journey is positioned as a celebration of African identity, rhythm, spirituality, and storytelling.
Backed by a full live band, Fundama will deliver an immersive show reflecting her signature fusion of Afro-Jazz, Afro-Soul, Afro-Pop, Gospel, and indigenous South African rhythms. Audiences can expect an evening rich in cultural expression, powerful vocals, and meaningful musical narratives.

Born and raised in Kwa-Thema, Fundama transitioned from a corporate career to pursue music full-time, building a respected career grounded in purpose, heritage, and social impact.
Her debut album Ngizoqina earned her the 2016 SABC Crown Gospel Award for best gospel jazz song, and she has since grown into an artist performing internationally, recently showcasing South African music on stages in France.
Through her music and live performances, she continues to carry language, ancestral memory, and African identity into global spaces.
Siyaphambili continues that mission with songs centred on love, unity, resilience, and collective progress. The title reflects her message of moving forward despite challenges, both individually and as a continent.
Fundama is currently available for media interviews, radio features, and television appearances to discuss the EP and the upcoming concert.
