Murder accused Sbusiso Mnisi is on the run.
The police have launched a manhunt for Sbusiso Mnisi, who escaped from the Benoni Magistrate’s Court at about 14:00 on October 16.
According to provincial police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, Mnisi was there for a scheduled court appearance on a murder charge, which was opened at the Etwatwa SAPS in 2021.
“A case of escape from lawful custody has been opened,” said Nevhuhulwi.
Mnisi is considered dangerous.
Anyone who knows his whereabouts is urged to contact their nearest police station or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
