The Martins Seed Foundation invites the community of Ekurhuleni to nominate residents and leaders playing a positive role in the region for the Lerato Martins Community Development Awards, scheduled for August 8 at Wattville Day Care Centre.
The event was established to honour the late Lerato Martins, daughter of the foundation’s founder, Floyd, who died of cerebral palsy.
This initiative aims to celebrate and uplift individuals and organisations making a positive impact within their communities, while also boosting morale and encouraging continued service.
“The event is dedicated to honouring and celebrating the remarkable achievements, commitment and service of our outstanding community builders and shapers, who continue to uplift our communities. We invite you to nominate to nominate deserving candidates for the awards,” said Martins.
The awards will also celebrate the foundation’s 12th annual women’s day celebration. Nominations open on February 20.
