The man accused of murdering Khosi Priscilla Mtshali appeared in the Springs Magistrate’s Court on December 12 for a pre-bail hearing.
Mtshali was bludgeoned to death on November 29 at her home in Reedville. The accused handed himself over to the SAPS shortly after the incident.
The prosecution opposed his bail, noting that a State witness resides at the same address as the accused.
During his defence, the accused informed the court that he has an alternative address where he would live if granted bail.
The bail application was postponed to afford the prosecution time to confirm the address he provided.
He will be back in court on December 19.
