Kamokgelo ‘Taury’ Ntuli aspires to make inspirational music

Duduza – Kamokgelo Ntuli (22), known as Taury, is a hip-hop artist who gained inspiration from popular artists he frequently watched and listened to on television.
“By watching incredible artists create beautiful and inspirational art. I make hip-hop, melodic rap, Afro-soul, Afropop and RNB. I enjoy listening to good music, music that moves my spirit and accompanies every emotion I feel,” said Ntuli.
He mentioned he attempted making his first song at 12 but unfortunately did not turn out as expected; saying he miserably failed.
“In high school, I met other learners interested in the art of making music and I joined them. And I have been at it ever since.
“I have so far worked with incredible local artists such as Cadon, Fiiend, Louis Cvroll, Hyperbole, Rapperholic, and Atkin Fleece but I would like to work with bigger artists such as Nasty C, Areece, Shane Eagle, Blxckie, Lucas raps and other well-known artists,” he added.

Ntuli said he recently released an EP titled You Got Me Feeling This Way, which is currently available on streaming platforms.
“The EP, consisting of seven songs, was released in May this year and talks about love, lust and everything that comes with it. I am currently working on a new project where I plan to feature as many other artists as possible.
“The project aims to experiment with different sounds and feels which unleash a sense of creativity,” added Ntuli.
He mentioned the project will be released early next year, aiming to provide inspiration, motivation, strength and entertainment.
Ntuli further added he aimed to make music that would stand the test of time, citing, “I aim to create something that will enable people to remember my name even when I am gone.
“I aspire to make music that will touch people’s souls and heal them from whichever hard situations they find themselves in, knowing that I made songs that made people happy and get them tuned in with their spiritual well-being would be an achievement for me,” he said.
