Reiger Park – Jealous Down recently represented the Springs Local Football Association at the SAFA Ekurhuleni Champ of Champs U13 Festival in Reiger Park.
They delivered an outstanding performance, finishing as runners-up after a dramatic final decided on penalties.
The young side showed determination, skill, and teamwork throughout the tournament, earning their place in the grand final.
Despite their resilience, the match ended in a tense penalty shootout where Jealous Down fell just short, securing second place and walking away with silver medals and a trophy.

Coach Ayabonga Nxumalo expressed pride in his players.
“I am beyond thrilled with the team’s performance. The boys gave their all from start to finish and showed great character.
“Reaching the final and competing the way we did is a huge achievement,” he said.
