Tsakani – The Healing Lives NPO recently hosted a charity Christmas party at the Menzi Children’s Home in Tsakani through MNS Attorneys and the Round Table Golden East 181 sponsorships on December 7.
“It has come to mind that we always enjoy the Christmas spirit with our families while having a feast, forgetting a child out there does not have a meal to feast on or someone to call.
“During our visit to the Menzi Children’s Home, the children’s faces lit up when we prepared our braai stand while playing good music.
“They danced, too. The toys brought instant joy to their hearts,” explained the founder and chairperson of Healing Lives, Sibusiso Radebe.

He said the children enjoyed the food they had prepared for them, saying they were happy and, ultimately, this is why the NPO does what it does – to see them smile.
Basetsana Mokoape, the administrator at the home, said, “Healing Lives came in and did a Christmas party for us. Our children enjoyed their day. We are grateful for all the donations they have given us since we met.”
Radebe added that he believes in profound truth, “Happiness comes not from what we have, but from what we give. Our humble plea goes to anyone willing to donate or sponsor our events to contact our chairperson, Sibusiso Radebe,” he added.
