“I am happy that my child is finally doing Grade One. Everything is new and exciting.
“A new school year starts with new things; classmates, books, classes, school uniform or even an new school.
“I am beyond excited to her about her day when I fetch her afterschool. I cannot wait to hear how her first experience of school felt like,” said Gumede.
