CoE receives feedback from residents

Residents have responded to the call of the public meeting on the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) draft 2025/26 amended IDP and multi-year budget on Thursday.
In Brakpan MMC for Human Settlements, Kgopolo Hollo headed the meeting and the MMC for Environmental Resources and Waste Management, Leshaka Manamelathe, led the Nigel/Duduza IDP public meeting at Monty Motloung Hall.
The IDP is the city’s strategic plan, linked to the budget for proposed projects and services. Part of the process is to get input from the public and stakeholders on the draft plans.
This will be held until April 15, with public meetings across the city at the different customer care areas. The MMCs and officials share the city’s proposed plans during these sessions.

Comments can be submitted via the city’s website.
