It is hoped the day will help encourage young people to stay away from crime.
Youngsters are invited to join Brakpan SAPS on Youth Day (June 16) for Sports Against Crime, an event jam-packed with different sporting activities.
The fun will take place from 10:00 to 15:00 at the Charl Baard Stadium.
These type of events are aimed at supporting youth in endeavours like sports, and to keep them off the streets and away from crime.
Young entrepreneurs are also invited to showcase and sell their products on the day.
