Mamsi Mashinini aims to equip young moms with the skills to juggle motherhood and school.
Duduza – Mamsi Mashinini hosted the first A Conversation With Teenage Mothers at the Duduza Resource Centre on April 2.
The founder of the Mamosa Educational Institute said the initiative was vital to help restore teenage mothers’ self-esteem.
“They will learn strategies for juggling school work and motherhood. The main reason is to help them improve their school performances to achieve their goals,” Mashinini said, adding that the first mentorship session is on May 2.
“We have partnered with the Department of Social Development in Duduza for social workers and the Parris Shaker Foundation for digital skills. We invite these teenage mothers to come and get help,” she said.
