Far East Rand Regional Hospital (FERRH) received emergency baby packs.
Hlasempho Community Development Projects donated emergency baby packs to the Far East Rand Regional Hospital (FERRH) on Friday.
The donation was in a joint effort of the Springs SAPS and PEP Stores branches in Springs. Hlasempho founder Martha Ntshona said the packs are for newborn mothers discharged from hospital without adequate baby clothing.
“The aim is for the hospital to store and distribute these essentials as needed, to help mothers,” said Ntshona.
Nomthandazo Sambo, FERRH nursing manager, expressed gratitude for the heartwarming gesture of support.
Ntshona added their partnership exemplifies the power of community support and the joint effort to improve the well-being of mothers and babies.
