Tsakani – A primary school soccer tournament was held at Michael Zulu Primary School recently.
The semis and final for both boys and girls U14 were between Michael Zulu, Langaville, Lestie, Lebone, and Sizuzile primary schools.
The tournament winners were Lebone Primary School (boys) and Sizuzile Primary School (girls).
Sphiw’inkululeko Foundation hosted the tournament.
“It was the first, and we are aiming to host it annually. The mission is to give room to youth in order to be great, and prevent them from social ills, and help the community build safer spaces for the youth.

“Sphiw’inkululeko Foundation will like to thank Aquelle for refreshments and Tsakane Sport Recreation for medals and soccer equipment.
“We hope other business owners will embark on this initiative to improve the sport of Tsakani schools and the youth,” explained Siyabonga Kumalo, from the foundation.
The organisation wants every school learner to be part of the tournament in the future, both primary and secondary schools.
“It takes a village to raise a child. Let’s build a nation together,” he added.
