Serati’s experiences inspire his solo track

Duduza – Siphamandla Serati (26) was born and bred in Duduza and known on stage as Eastsidevivid. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer who started producing music at his friend’s house.
Serati said his friend enjoyed making beats, a craft he eventually fell in love with, saying that was how he fell for the creativity of rap music.
He mentioned as he developed a love for beat-making; he began making his own beats and finally merged them with his catchy rap verses.
“I am inspired by the creative process behind music making. I’ve been making music since 2017 and have never looked back since.

“I recently released two songs titled Intokozo and Rango. I featured incredible artists on both songs,” he said.

He added he was currently working on his first solo track titled Ppop which is due to be dropped in mid-January 2025.
“I have been working on the final mixing and mastering of it. The motivation behind this project is the disappointments I have confronted in the past, especially with events.
“I worked on most of my music with others, and normally, they do not pitch when we have to perform our songs. This is why I started to work on a solo project, a project that will represent me and what I stand for,” he added.
He further added the beat, flow, words and tone selections of the song were inspired by his dream to make beautiful music.
“My main drive is making beautiful, vivid music. My vision is to spread something different from what is already out there. There is a lot that I disagree with and would like to rearrange according to what I have experienced,” he said.
