Duduza mourns beloved bishop and community icon

Duduza residents mourn the loss of icon Michael Kleinbooi Moloi, who was 96 years old. Moloi was a priest at the First Zion Christian Salem Ekuphumuleni Church and was later appointed as a vice bishop.
In 2007, he became the bishop, holding that role at the Duduza Finika branch until his death on October 24.
His daughter, Mathapelo Sibeko, said her father was passionate about church because he was still active at church until his last days.
The local businessman was a Good Samaritan. The president of the Jobe Foundation, Siphiwe Sithole, is his grandfather.
He leaves behind his wife, daughters, son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
His funeral service is on November 2 at the Church Hall from 08:00 to 11:00.  He will be laid to rest at the Enokuthula Memorial Park.
