Ekurhuleni showcases tourism and investment potential at World Travel Market Africa

The City of Ekurhuleni’s Tourism Division is showcasing its offerings at the World Travel Market Africa, currently underway at the Cape Town International Convention Centre until April 15.

The three-day event highlights the diversity of Africa’s tourism landscape, bringing together industry leaders, stakeholders and exhibitors from across the continent and beyond.

Ekurhuleni is using the platform to position itself as a destination of choice for both tourism and investment.

The city is promoting its scenic lakes and dams, alongside its established hospitality sector, which includes a range of top-rated hotels and visitor experiences.

Throughout the event, the Tourism Division is engaging in business-to-business networking, strengthening partnerships and sharing industry best practices with global counterparts.

Officials say participation forms part of broader efforts to boost the city’s visibility, attract more visitors and unlock economic opportunities through tourism.

By taking part in one of Africa’s leading travel exhibitions, Ekurhuleni aims to reinforce its reputation as a vibrant, competitive and must-visit destination on the international stage.
