Tjovitjo FC U11s and Paragorn Play to 0-0 draw in Tactical Tsakani Encounter

Tsakani – The U11 clash between Tjovitjo FC and Paragorn FC at Rejabatho Ext 5 Ground recently delivered a tightly contested encounter.

The match told a deeper story of growth, tactical adjustment, and youthful determination. From the opening whistle, both teams approached the game with caution.

Tjovitjo FC coach, Obakeng Mapotela, said it was clear that this was unfamiliar territory for both sides.

“Both teams were reserved towards each other since it was our first time playing against Paragorn FC.

“It felt as if the boys were studying the opponent,” he explained.

This disrupted Tjovitjo’s usual rhythm, preventing them from fully expressing their identity early on.

The turning point came in the first half when Tjovitjo earned a penalty. The game ended 0-0.

“The boys were too relaxed and had a defensive mentality rather than attacking,” he said.

Beyond the result, the coach emphasised development as the true victory. He expressed pride in his players not just for playing, but for applying what they have been learning.

“They are now having an idea of what we are doing, and everything we learn in training, they are trying to implement,” he said.

The coach highlighted the importance of teamwork and on-field dialogue. The other coach could not be reached for comment.
