CPF chairperson Mncedisi Somyo shares safety tips ahead of Easter weekend

Tsakani – CPF chairperson Mncedisi Somyo has urged residents to prioritise safety during the busy Easter weekend.

He advises community members to remain vigilant at all times, especially when travelling or attending gatherings.

“Ensure your homes are properly secured before leaving, avoid carrying large amounts of cash, and be aware of your surroundings in crowded areas,” he said.

Somyo also encouraged motorists to obey road rules, avoid drinking and driving, and plan trips in advance.

“Let’s work together to keep our communities safe this Easter,” he added.

Somyo said planning trips in advance and ensuring vehicles are roadworthy can help reduce accidents during the holiday period.

He further emphasised the importance of community cooperation, urging neighbours to look out for one another and report any suspicious activities to local authorities.
