DUDUZA – The EMPD arrested a 42-year-old man on March 17 on Ndudula Street after he was found in possession of narcotics. According to the metro police, they received a complaint from community members about a man dealing drugs.
“The officers spotted a man fitting the description given and requested to search him.
“During the search, they discovered 40 small wrapped brown plastic packages suspected to be narcotics (nyaope) and 17 small wrapped green paper packages suspected of being narcotics (rocks), all with an estimated street value of R3 700,” the EMPD said.
The suspect was immediately arrested and detained at the Duduza Police Station.
“He will soon appear before the relevant magistrate’s court,” the EMPD concluded.
