Four suspects arrested after EMPD drug bust in Duduza

Duduza – EMPD Nigel precinct officers recently conducted a strategic operation together with other precincts and stakeholders. The operation resulted in the arrest of four men for possession of narcotics in the Duduza area.
According to CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, officers received a tip-off regarding individuals allegedly dealing in narcotics.
“A follow-up operation was conducted on Nomjekwa and Ntombela streets, where the different male suspects were found in possession of narcotics.
“The confiscated drugs included 15 mandrax tablets, 11 packets of crystal meth and 22 small plastic wraps of nyaope, with an estimated street value of R4 400,” explained Dlamini.
All four suspects were detained at Duduza Police Station.
