
It is the final day of the St Stithians U16 Basketball Tournament, and the energy is absolutely electric.
The quarter-final matches have already started, and you can feel the excitement buzzing across all the courts.
Both the girls and boys are playing their hearts out, desperate to secure a well-earned spot in the semi-finals.

The girls are bringing some serious competition today. Over on Court 4, the hosts from St Stithians College are playing against St Mary’s School Waverley in a match everyone has been waiting to see.

If you wander over to Court 2, you will catch Saheti School taking on Trinityhouse. Just next door on Court 3, ISSA School is lined up against Redhill School. Meanwhile, Court 1 is hosting a fierce battle between Michael Mount Waldorf School and St Dunstan’s College.The boys are certainly not holding back either, with their games having kicked off at 08.30.
Some of the very best schools are in the mix today. St John’s College is going head-to-head with Michaelhouse, which is sure to be a fantastic game to watch.

You also have King’s School West Rand playing St Benedict’s College, and Maritzburg College matching up against Hilton College. The local favourites, St Stithians College, are also stepping onto the court to face St David’s Marist Inanda in a crucial game.

Because a place in the semi-finals is on the line, the players are giving it everything they have got. Fans cheering from the sidelines are in for a real treat.
