St Stithians basketball matches move back home

Good news for everyone following the St Stithians U16 basketball tournament. After the recent bad weather forced some games to move over to Wits University, all the remaining matches are heading back home to St Stithians College for the rest of today. The organisers thought long and hard about this, but bringing the event back to its original venue is the best way to get everything back on schedule.
The very last games to be played at the three Wits courts will be the ones that began at 11:50 this morning.
These include St Dunstan’s, Saheti taking on DSG, and Jeppe Girls going up against St Mary’s Waverley.

Then, from 14:30 this afternoon, all the action shifts back to St Stithians.
The first teams taking the court back on campus will be Michaelhouse playing Pretoria Boys, Saheti facing St David’s Marist Inanda, and Northwood going up against St Peter’s College.
The organisers are asking all teams playing in this next round to be ready and waiting for the 14:30 start.
To help catch up on the time lost to the weather, they are also opening up extra courts to keep the whole programme running smoothly.
The team behind the scenes is working hard to finalise the updated schedule.
