Tsakani – Amagrootman and Wizard Masters went head-to-head in a Kwatsaduza League match at Bohman Ground on December 7.
The intense showdown marked the final stretch of the season, with both teams pushing hard to assert dominance.
Neither side was willing to concede, displaying impressive tactical play and solid defensive discipline throughout the game.
Amagrootman coach Patrick Sibiya said the first half went well despite starting the game with insufficient players. He expressed disappointment that many of his players arrived late.

“Many of our players are already participating in other tournaments within the township, which led to their absence for this game.
“We started with only seven players and only recovered in the second half when others joined. By then, our opponents were already leading, and it was clear they would win,” Sibiya explained.
He added that although they did not win, the team managed to create scoring opportunities and defended well in the second half.
“I am hurt because we did not win, but I am confident we will regroup next season. We plan to scout new players to ensure full attendance at every game on Sundays,” he said.

The game concluded with Wizard Masters winning 3-0, thanks in part to their strong team cohesion and full squad. Wizard Masters coach Thokozani Biyela expressed gratitude for the victory.
“The first half started slow as we had to carefully observe our opponents. The aim was to ensure they did not score first.
“I only had 11 players, without any reserves, because others did not show up. We played united, communicated effectively, and had a common goal,” Biyela said.
He added that the players understood their roles clearly, which helped them create three clear scoring chances.
“I am beyond happy with this win. Last season we won the league, but we dropped a bit this season. I am glad we made it to the top eight, and we are prepared to work even harder next season,” he concluded.
