Teacher and librarian Fikile Mabuza said the awards were about more than just marks on a paper.
“We celebrate the effort, resilience and growth of our learners. Seeing their excitement and pride today reminded us why we teach: To inspire confidence and a love for learning in every child.
“These awards also motivate the children, who did not work hard enough, to work harder next year. They also boost our learners’ confidence and focus, making them aware that dedication helps and goes a long way,” she said.
The school will continue to foster academic excellence while encouraging learners to develop life skills, creativity and leadership qualities alongside their studies.
