Duduza – The EMPD Eastern Region team, SAPS Crime Prevention Springs officers, the Tsakane Detectives Trio and the Hawks arrested eight men early on November 15.
CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini said the officers worked tirelessly to trace suspects linked to the killing of an officer in Tsakani three weeks ago.
“The law enforcers arrested eight and recovered five firearms. One was arrested in Tsakani, the second in Kathlehong, five in the Emazulwini Hostel in Vosloorus, and the last in Duduza,” he said.
The suspects will soon appear before the relevant court.
